The advantages of the Moroccan mining code:

– In Morocco, taxes are low with 0.5% on revenue for the first five years of operation of a new company and thereafter, a 17.5% applies on profit.

– The research permit is granted for a period of three (3) years, renewable once for a period of four (4) years.

– The mining license is granted for a period of ten (10) years. It is renewable for successive periods of ten (10) years until reserves are exhausted.
